Below are brushes made with some braille pictures. There are several different types to choose from. Did you know it has been proven that if a person learns braille by sight, they will have an easier time learning it with their fingers than if they tried to learn braille by finger reading alone? Just a piece of trivia!

Braille Contractions
There are over 100 contractions in braille - contractions are whole words (with, the) or common parts of words (ing, ch, sh, th) that are combined together with the dots so an accomplished braille reader does not have to read each word letter by letter but they can read the more common groups as one. This has only the more common contractions, not all of them.
