Below are pictures of some nit combs. The one on the left is what you want. The one on the right is what came with the [lice killing] shampoo. The teeth are too wide to be effective and they bend too easily. The metal teeth on the comb on the left are very close together and obviously are going to be stiff. If you don't use cream rinse to do a combing you will notice that the bugs you comb out will quickly climb between the teeth and all you'll see are their legs sticking out either side of the teeth. The little yellow brush is what you use to brush the lice from between the teeth. They can be persistant buggers and be a little difficult to get out. A few times I had to use the tweezers to get them out.
