Lice Movies

Below are links to movies made of lice moving about. The one link is for 56k modems and the others are for broadband such as DSL (if you have a 56k modem and are patient you can look at the bigger movies as well or save them into your computer first then look at the movie). The broadband movies are of two types: Windows Media and Mpeg movies which can be burned to VCD.

I'm going to be nice about this: These movies were made by me (BubblyBabs also known as FractalFairy), I don't mind if people download these into their computers in order to show them to other people as a way of educating others (or gross them out) but PLEASE do not claim them as your own! I consider these movies to be very important for their educational purposes and include them on the site even though they are very large in size. They are considered to be copyrighted to me. However, you may burn these movies to VCD or DVD and share them. The more people see them the better. I just wanna have the glory of being the bug lady I guess. *smile*

Sorry about the movement in this, my daughter wouldn't keep her head still. Also, it looks like there are loads of nits in this but it's actually dandruff. Take note the 2 lice that are only seen as black dots. Those blacks dots are in the middle of the lice body. My older daughter had lice before and they were a light brown in color and matched her hair perfectly. These are darker, don't know why. Update: The next generation lice were a light brown which matched closer to her hair color. It's taken me 4 days of nit-picking (and a few days I checked her hair 3-4 times) to remove all the nits and bugs. So far.

Of course, my response to this infestation isn't nearly as horrified as the first time we had them. Isn't that awful to say? This is the 3rd time we've had them in the house. This time only my 6 year old has them (thankfully).
